AS Saint-Étienne is joining forces with Smart Good Things to propose generous drinks
A quarter of net turnover generated through the sale of ASSE-branded drinks will be donated to solidarity and sports initiatives in favour of young people and training young players of the club.
Concerned with the new challenges prompted by the ecological- and solidarity-based transition, AS Saint-Étienne is joining forces with Smart Good Things and its Generous Consum'Action model. Smart Good Things allocates a quarter of its net turnover from the sale of its ultra-innovative drink mixes to support grassroots causes and commitments that have meaning and impact.
ASSE and Smart Good Things, bonded by jointly-held values of sharing and mutual aid, have as such concluded a new type of agreement to offer supporters innovative drinks. As a result of this one-of-a-kind partnership, a quarter of net turnover generated through the sale of ASSE-branded drinks will be donated to solidarity and sports initiatives in favour of young people and training young players of the club.
ASSE, recognized as a committed social player across its region as well as throughout France, supports numerous projects promoting mutual aid and donations with the help of its ASSE Coeur-Vert association.
The club, eager to provide practical solutions to major social issues, views football as an educational tool, accessible to all, and a pillar of social cohesion.
ASSE is one of Europe's leading clubs for training young players. Last season, 19 of its players came from its training centre, representing a record among Europe's top five leagues.
By investing in the transmission of knowledge and the values of sport, the club makes football a real lever for inclusion and professional integration for tomorrow's young people.
This partnership, concluded for three years, will enable ASSE to promote new ethical, eco-friendly drinks to its supporters.
A first range of products to finance solidarity and sports initiatives in favour of young people is now available for pre-order online.
Through its ecosystem of entrepreneurs, partners and experts, Smart Good Things proposes the first-ever consumer food product combining pleasure, wellness, and looking after the community and the planet.
Our ultra-easy, up-to-the-minute drink mixes, developed following 12 years of R&D, are rich in vitamins and minerals. As such, they offer an alternative to mindless consumption. A few moves is all it takes to make a can- or bottle-sized drink with a stick weighing a few grams, without compromising on taste and by gaining on nutrients, fibres and vitamins.
By eliminating these unnecessary costs, a quarter of net turnover is donated to solidarity and sports initiatives in favour of young people and training young Saint-Étienne players.
These recipes, available in a wide range of flavours, sure to delight, whatever your taste, whatever your mood, anytime, anywhere, address clear consumer expectations, highlighted over the last few months through the health crisis: to consume in line with their values, their desire for personal wellness and that of the planet.
SPORTFIVE, party to the partnership, will accompany the brand in rolling out and managing its campaign.
Jean-François Soucasse, ASSE Executive President: "It is in ASSE's DNA to be the first in line in innovative projects, especially when the club is convinced that the path taken is the right one. This partnership with Smart Good Things offers ASSE the opportunity to play an active role in promoting an alternative solution to the environmental problems caused by plastic bottles. This agreement will also enable our supporters to participate indirectly in our young players' training. 25% of net turnover from the sale of ASSE-branded drinks will be directly donated to our training centre. I'm delighted that les Verts (the Greens) are the first club chosen by Smart Good Things to roll out its solution."
Serge Bueno, founder of Smart Good Things: "AS Saint-Étienne is a club that has been historically committed to its local communities and further afield. It's a fantastic social link and vitality driver. This convergence of values between the Club and the Smart Good Things project makes our partnership tangible. The very fact that one of our first structuring partnerships has been concluded with this legendary club which revived French football back in the mid Seventies is particularly meaningful. I'd like to warmly thank the Club's Management for the welcome we received and for their trust in this innovative generous consumption partnership!"
